English Journal Club News

　　Time goes by quickly, 3 months has passed and our team became much stronger. Doctors and nurses from different wards came together every other week with the same theme -- English. We’ve already discussed 6 cases of clinical diseases in articles from NEJM, in which we not only improved our special English and speaking ability, but also had an opportunity to discuss clinical problems we had met or not met before.

　　Besides, David Yang from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University shared his experinces in English teaching at our hospital last month. The audience including staff of our hospital, interns and students from medical college were attracted by such interesting and lively lecture. We all enjoyed ourselves in the activity.

　　The Christmas Day is coming, and an English speech competition named “ the Sound of Futian hospital” is now starting to accept registration. This is a very good chance to show yourself on the stage to the hospital. Anyone who wants to participate in can get registered by contact with Qiu Huawen (13688806792) and Shen Qi(13602567620).
